The University of Alberta banner is flying at half-mast to acknowledge the tragic and untimely death of Rachael Longridge. Her obituary can be found here.
Rachael completed the requirements for the BScN degree in December. She excelled academically. Faculty members described her as positive, caring and compassionate, and always willing to help others personally, in class, or in clinical settings. She was excited about plans to begin her new career in nursing in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at the Mazankowski Heart Institute. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and colleagues.
