I am looking for research participants for my research study that is examining new potential methods for improving ankle flexibility.
The participants must:
- Have poor ankle flexibility
- Be 18-35
- Be physically active
- Have no history of foot or ankle surgery
- Have no current serious injuries to the foot, ankle, knee, or hip
Participation will require two 45-minute sessions in the Sports Biomechanics lab in Van Vliet Center at the University of Alberta where you will have to perform a simple partial squat exercise. It will also require adherence to a supervised intervention program 3x/week for 6 weeks. Each training session will last a maximum of 20 minutes.
