{PEACH} Prenatal Exercise And Cardiovascular Health Study - Call for Pregnant Volunteers!!

PEACH Study

We are currently recruiting pregnant women 18 years or older to participate in a study looking at the effects of exercise on cardiovascular and nervous system health.

This study will involve an exercise test (~1.5 hours) and an assessment of blood vessel health (~3 hours) that are completed on two separate days between 16-20 weeks gestation. These tests are repeated again after the intervention (34-36 weeks). Half of the women in this study  (randomized) will take part in an exercise program in the Program for Pregnancy and Postpartum Health.

If you are interested in learning more about our study, please contact Rachel Skow at pregnant@ualberta.ca or 780-492-0642.
