· Roxanne Harde, Professor, Augustana Campus - named a 2017-2018 Fulbright Scholar
· Chris Herd, Professor, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Faculty of Science - named Instructor of the Month in the Faculty of Science
· John Hogg, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation - inducted into the UAlberta Sport Wall of Fame
· Ed Ilnicki, Golden Bears Football - named Athlete of the Week and Canada West Offensive Player of the Week
· P. Devereaux Jennings, Thornton A. Graham Professor of Strategy and Organization Coordinator of the Canadian Centre for CSR, Alberta School of Business - received the ONE Outstanding Service award
· Daniel Li, Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry - received the Award for Compassionate Service from the Alberta Medical Association
· Todd Lowary, Professor, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science - received the 2017 University Cup
· Sumit Majumdar, Professor, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry - named a 2017 CAHS Fellow
· Sangita Sharma, Endowed Chair in Aboriginal Health and Centennial Professor / Professor in Aboriginal and Global Health Research, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry - received the Medal of Honor from the Alberta Medical Association
