Convocation Congrats! June 2: Augustana

On June 2, 2019, the U of A community celebrated the academic achievements of its 2019 Spring Augustana graduates. Each has toiled and excelled in their field, and we'd like to take this opportunity to say congrats - well done, everyone!

During the ceremony, Gwich'in Elder Sarah Jerome - a teacher, principal, assistant school board superintendent and former official languages commissioner of the Northwest Territories - received an honorary degree and challenged the 2019 grads to use their education to work toward reconciliation.
