1–4:30pm

Council Chambers, University Hall

The Indigenous Initiatives Office is coordinating an afternoon event from 1pm — 4:30pm on February 21, 2018 with the goal to increase awareness and collaboration on Indigenous Initiatives across the University.

Building on our first two years of a campus wide networking event aimed at promoting coordination and collaboration on Indigenous Initiatives, this year’s event will focus on the theme of Indigenous engagement in research and teaching, with special attention to our internal ethics and administrative processes. This gathering will be a mix of invited presenters and facilitated discussions as the Indigenous Initiatives Office works towards collaborative development of guidance and best practices on the tools needed to ensure respectful and ethical engagement of Indigenous peoples in our work at the University of Alberta. Please hold your calendars, more details on the program will follow.
