Pride Week (March 9-13, 2020) is an annual collective celebration of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and communities at the University of Alberta.

Our Pride Week community recognizes and embraces the origins of Pride as a political struggle for the rights, safety, and acceptance of 2SLGBTQ+ people, many of whom live at the intersections of multiple forms of marginalization by virtue of not only gender and sexuality, but also race, class, disability, neurological experiences, citizenship, age, religion, place of origin, and more. University of Alberta Pride Week is an opportunity to reflect on our campus and ourselves.

On Monday, March 9, 2020 the U of A community - decked out in rainbows - came together for the Pride Parade to celebrate what we've accomplished so far. Happy Pride Week!
